Dear Friends of the John Brown Today podcast,
I have never considered opening the door to soliciting any kind of support and tend to follow the "freely ye have received, freely give" policy because my work on Brown is a calling, not a business venture. However, some wise people have advised me that enabling support will not only be a benefit to me, but will give you an opportunity to contribute to affirming this work and building community--not to mention it may stimulate me toward being more productive in and out of season.
Whatever the case, here's an open invitation--with much thanks in advance--for you to offer whatever you might feel to offer--the proverbial "buy me a cup of coffee." If you can, then, truly, thank you; and if you cannot, please continue to follow John Brown Today. You are always welcome at this fireside.
Also for 2026-2027, PLEASE visit John Brown America 250, the website for the exciting semiquincentennial celebration of Brown running concurrent with the "America 250" programs going on this year. Check out the John Brown American 250 project with me and many other "Browniac" friends at Johnbrown250.org.
As Old Brown would say,
"Yours in truth,"
